Limited Edition Lanvin’s Doll

When I saw the first time, I think it was a perfume, but these are not perfume. They’re limited edition porcelain figurines from Lanvin, to celebrated Lanvin’s 120th Anniversary.
Alber Elbaz, the venerable house’s creative director, has chosen to mark the occasion by honouring mothers and daughters in his famous production of limited edition porcelain figurines. This is in ode to the brand’s founder Jeanne Lanvin who dedicated her collections to her daughter Marguerite. The gorgeous figures – all made in that quintessential style and humour Lanvin is famed for – come in mother and daughter festive poses – as well as delectable paperweights sure to bring a gorgeous style element to any desk and bags that are the perfect Lanvin keepsake. Stella McCartney the famous fashion designer who has three children under the age of four announced that she will turn her hand to designing childrenswear for the first time, in a new collection for GapKids and BabyGap. Expected to launch in November this year, the Stella McCartney kids and baby collectiona will be carried in selected GapKids and BabyGap stores in the United States and Canada, UK, Ireland and japan.
Regarding the collaboration McCartney said: “For years now I’ve wanted to create a collection for kids, it’s something I’ve often been asked about. I believe that this one-off collaboration will be a great way for customers to be able to participate in the Stella McCartney brand. I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate. Jean Paul Gaultier on Target

Finally Jean Paul Gaultier is doing a Target collection. It will hit more than 250 Target stores across the country and Target site on March 7, and be available through April 11. Jean Paul Gaultier is the third established designer to do a collection for the mass retailer (after Alexander McQueen and Anna Sui) under the Designer Collaboration series. Target makes the designers in this Designer Collaboration series choose a muse for their collections. Anna Sui chose the girls of Gossip Girl, Alexander McQueen chose Leila Moss, and Jean Paul Gauliter??? Guess it!!!

Selena Gomez Launching Fashion Brand

Selena Gomez, the 17 year old star, best know for her leading role on The Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place,” is launch of her first fashion brand called Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez.
“Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve traveled, I found such a love of clothes,” Gomez said while primping for a day of filming on the set of “Wizards of Waverly Place.” “It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.”
