CRYSTAL RENN FOR V MAGAZINE
V Magazines has released a preview of the issue “Page Six” had reported would be devoted to plus-size models. Crystal Renn the plus-size model is featured Size Issue in an editorial that illustrates one size fits all. The spread shot by Terry Richardson and styled by Mel Ottenberg, put Crystal Renn alongside the traditional model body-type of Jacquelyn Jablonski, in identical looks and similiar poses. The release also included the models’ measurements: Jacquelyn: 5 ft, 9 in; 32/24/34 and Crystal Renn: 5 ft, 9 in; 36/31/41.
Renn told the AP in an interview, “I’d like to see everyone take on the attitude that there are women of all different shapes and sizes as ‘the beauty ideal,’ and that it’s not one type or another. There are women who are naturally a size 2–you can’t forget them, and that’s discrimination the other way. All women bring something different to the table and we have to appreciate them all.”
Well, I think Crystal Renn seems to have healthy proportions for her weight, a natural beauty women body. I prefer become a plus size than a skinny one. No way!!!

I’ve always been a fan of fuller-figured models. There’s a great site with many images of Crystal and other plus-size models here:

They’re all gorgeous.
The site’s forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.
