Filippa Hamilton Fired
There was photograph of Polo Ralph Lauren advertisement with Filippa Hamilton as the model was retouched into what amounted to a cartoon. Filippa Hamilton looked like a big-headed doll with a noggin larger than her derriere. Well, Filippa Hamilton-Palmstierna or Filippa Palmstierna Hamilton are Swedish-French supermodel. The Ralph Lauren house said, that the altered image was a mistake. Then Filippa Hamilton said she was fired by Ralph Lauren because she being too fat and didn’t fit the samples. What??!!?? She is 5-foot-10 and 120 pounds, how can they said she being fat??!!??

Anyway, everybody who looks this advertisement will think this skeleton model are sexy and stylish. That will influence them about every cookie eaten at the end of a meal or every exercise commitment that goes unmet. Not only us, but the models do the same think with us and some of them are not healty.
Skeleton models
There’s a story about the famous plus size model Crystal Renn. When Crystal Renn aspired to be a model as a 14-year-old in Mississippi, an agent (not from Ford) told her she had to lose 9 inches off of her hips first. Renn ended up doing that, and then some, going from 175 lbs and 5′ 8″ to 95 lbs and an inch and a half taller in two years, eventually moving to New York City and launching a successful modeling career. After conquering the eating disorder that transformed her body, Renn, now 23, is happy to call herself a size 12 plus-size model, who, with her new curvy figure has walked the runway for Gaultier, graced the pages of Vogue and starred in ads for Dolce & Gabbana.

Fashion tells us something about ourselves and our culture. I think the fashion industry should not affect the women to be very thin with their fashion collections, they must realize that not all women in the world has a thin body like a skeleton.
