The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s imposing façade was a stairway of the stars for the annual Costume Institute Gala on Monday night. Jennifer Lopez, Marion Cotillard and Anne Hathaway ruled the red carpet at last night’s Met Costume Institute Gala in glittering, princess prom dresses. They are so gorgeous and so pretty like a princess.
Katy Perry, the “Hot N Cold” singer, 25, stepped out in a glow-in-the-dark gown (LED lights were built into the dress from shoulder to hem). Her electric gown came from a shop in France called Cute Circuit and had flashing lights, presumable enough to get her through the evening. “I have backups,” she said. “”I love it! I think it’s so much fun!! But I do feel like a terrorist wearing all these batteries.” Right, Oprah Winfrey flattering her curvaceous figure in a midnight-blue, 3/4-length sleeved frock with a ruffled skirt. What do you think??
Btw, who do you think was the worst dressed at the Costume Institute Gala? As I read in UsMagazine.com below is the name of the celebrity who is considered wore the worst dressed!!
Carey Mulligan (in Miu Miu and Martin Katz), Mila Kunis (in a black and grey tumbled tulle ballgown with hand appliqued sequin bodice by Vera Wang), Malin Akerman, Kristen Stewart, Alexa Chung, Elizabeth Banks, M.I.A., Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tina Fey, Kirsten Dunst, , January Jones, Chloe Sevignyand Leighton Meester. What do you think??
