Metallic and Menswear Gray
On the runway some designer showing their metallic collections with a trousers. Gleamy tops wew right at home with crisp trousers, the look is striking. But the idea is so straightforward that it never felt over the top.
From left to right Cynthia Steffe collection and Carolina Herrera collection. A metallic tops looks so elegant with a skinny trousers or wide-leg trousers. I never have been thinking about this combinations before. I know metallic are not appropriate with a tropic skin color like us. But, I was thinking after seeing that black models wearing that collections, she looks great. We should try this trends. I think we should minimalist the makeup because metallic outfits already stunning, so we dont want to looks like an “ondel-ondel”.
Since the finish of the blouses makes such a statement, choose ones that are fairly unfussy in contruction, for pants, go as minimal as possible, with a classic cuts in cool, suit-ish hues. You can try some ouftirs from photos above, from left to right, Blouson Top SilkRalph Laurent Blue Lable Emilia Stretch Flannel Pant (Price : $209, Lewischo.com) and (Price : $345, RalphLauren.com). Or maybe some cheaper outfits on the store with a same looks as this trend.

I think we can get away with metallic given our tropical skin color. We will look radiant in bronze and pewter.

I think metallic tops can be a bit tacky but I do love their collection and the way they were styled with long pants! Looks polished and elegant! xxoxoxo

I agree with Shin, sometimes metallic can be rather cheap looking so quality of fabric and cut is key. Satin is the way to go I’d say and the tips on the pants are great!
