A south Korean supermodel Daul Kim found dead at her luxury flat in Paris. According to police, Daul Kim was found hanged in her city centre apartment by a friend. Daul Kim had modelled for leading designers, including Chanel, Dries van Noten and Alexander McWueen. Despite her professional success, Daul Kim had hinted at her desire to end her life in her popular internet blog – a series of poems, photos and thoughts called “I like to Fork Myself (iliketoforkmyself.blogspot.com)”.

Daul Kim left a series of message on her website saying she was lonely and depressed. On October 30, she wrote “i was getting mad depressed and overworked in Seoul and highlight of it was this day. so i left seoul and im in paris im happy”. Read the rest of this entry »

Avon has launched their new fragrance called Christian Lacroix Absynthe for Him,a follow-up to the Avon + Christian Lacroix Absynthe for Her fragrances that was introduced earlier at February 2009.

This new fragrance collaborations with Avon and the famous fashion designer Christian Lacroix is described ad seductive fresh spices and earthy greens infused with smoky woods”. Ghost, the womenswear label’s first wholesale offer in three years recaptures the spirit of its past. Touker Suleyman the owner of shirt retailer Hawes & Curties, rescued Ghost from administration in October 2008, and this was the label’s first step on a return to wholesale.

Ghost returns to their own designs that elegant and easy to wear for the 30-plus woman with draped dresses and a focus on premium fabrics such as satin, georgette and crepe.
