Prada new limited editions perfume Infusion de Tubéreuse and Infusion de Vétiver comes with a fancy packaging suite. Both were developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier, who also created Infusion d’Iris, Infusion d’Homme and Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger.

Infusion de Tubéreuse is a “crisp floral with green notes”; notes include tuberose, petitgrain, blood orange and dynamone.

Infusion de Vétiver is “a fusion of green notes that is brisk and clean”; notes include vetiver, tarragon, pepper and purple ginger.

Marios Schwab unveiled his first collection for Halston in a dimly-lit warehouse space in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. The label, which has had a revolving door of owners and designers since Roy Halston Frowick died in 1990, has struggled to articulate a cohesive vision following the acquisition of the brand in 2007 by Harvey Weinstein and the private equity fund Hilco Consumer Capital.

Last year, Halston’s management team hired a young London-based designer, Marios Schwab, for its collection, and more recently tapped Sarah Jessica Parker to be the designer of the brand’s lower priced “Halston Heritage” line. Read the rest of this entry »
