Runway Report Makeup : Modern Minimalism
Don’t call this no-makeup makeup. What at first glance seemed like barely touched faces at many of the Spring 2009 shows was actually the result of deft and calculated handiwork. Makeup artists groomed skin to perfection with foundations, concealers, powders and highlighters. “It’s all about building the face,” says Pat McGrath, makeup maestro and global cosmetics creative design director for P&G. Features were then strategically defined and contoured without using a lot of colour. “We did beautiful browns around the eyes, and shimmers on the nose, in the corners of the eyes, on the cupid’s bow and on the cheekbones as well,” she says of the “statuesque” look she created at Prada. At Dolce & Gabbana, McGrath amped up a similar look with espresso liner around the eyes, slightly winged out. If this is the modern version of natural, bring it on.

And a hihihihi back to you! :D
These makeup artists have some immense skill recreating the ‘natural’ look so flawlessly! Another option is to wear none at all lol but that probably wouldn’t look as fantastic as these do haha
And the peach ‘dress’ is actually and oversized tee that i wore upside down and manipulated. If you look closely you’ll see and arm sleave but I really like the effect that it brings lol.
Hope you’re nom noming your way through some yummies! :)

I wish those make-up artists could come over to my house every morning. And bring their hairstylist friends.

I ADORE this natural look–it definitely still takes a lot of work though to look this beautiful :-) Gorgeous!

I wish I could do this and really seem so effortless… but I’m a disaster with the make up…

Wah itu eye shadownya gak bisa dikategorikan minimalis make up.
Kalo udah pake warna warni begitu pasti setiap org bs ngeliat klo kita pake “make up”. Susah memang cari make up yg minimalis dan gak kesannya tebel…. :)
